Cycling Breaks and Holidays in North Devon.

From the moment you arrive you will be able to put your bikes away in a safe locked up garage, you'll have a workshop ready to repair any punctures you may incur and have an opportunity to plan your daily touring routes before setting off with the knowledge you have made the right choice of holiday break. 
 
Hugh has taken part in a number of events, the most difficult being the Newcastle to London 24 hour cycle challenge, sadly in 2015 and 2016 the weather conditions were such that he didn't complete the ride but has not given up on training for 2018!  
 
Since Hugh is an avid cyclist who only started cycling in early 2015 and has managed to lose over 4 stone in that time, Hugh is looking forward to getting out and about with those who wish to improve their own cycling skills or guide visitors with advice as to where they might cycle to make the most of their time in North Devon.  
 

Cycling Coast to Coast. 

Take the chance to Cycle Coast to Coast as My Way Guest House is only a short distance from The National Route 27 on the Cycle Network going from Ilfracombe to Plymouth. Please contact us for further details of rates for a one night stay as we recognise cyclists doing the Coast to Coast ride will only need a one night rental with good breakfast to get them on their merry way! We aim to please and will ensure your short stay will be one you remember for all the right reasons.  
Whether you are into road racing, touring or getting out on your mountain bike, it's all on your doorstep. There are a number of sportive events in the area which will introduce you to some of the most spectacular views in Britain. 

Cycle Training Rides. 

Make the most of your stay and train for either fitness or just enjoyment on a number of different types of route and terrain. Come to My Way Guest House with a goal to achieve, maybe you want to cycle your first 100 mile ride, then come and train with a view of achieving just that.

Combe Martin lies on the North Devon coast bordering onto Exmoor and is quite possibly one of the best spots to get yourself fit on your bicycle break. Be under no illusion, North Devon countryside is full of ups and downs, you will love the feel of the wind blowing through your hair and enjoy those moments when your heart is pounding on the steep hills which surround the village. The scenery is really quite breath taking and will certainly ensure your rides are a pleasure whatever the weather may throw at you. 
You may even want to stay with a view of cycling to get fit with routes ranging from anything between 15 miles and up to 60 miles per day, longer endurance rides are also possible depending on weather and the time available in your busy schedule. One thing is certain, whether you commit yourself to a 15 mile ride or one of the longer rides, you will have the most amazing time in North Devon.  

Cycle Lands End to John O'Groats . 

Ideally situated for those cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats. Have a rest break at My Way and prepare for the next section of your ride. As with those cycling the Coast to Coast route, please contact Hugh and Jane for room rates for a one night stay.
